For those who have seen Carol Chilton's works of art and experienced her loving and caring friendship, you are among the lucky.  I have known Carol (and family) since we were in undergrad together, surprisingly as neighbors with the same major, art education. In art classes, Carol was a whiz.  Her love for drawing and painting was always apparent as she showed phenomenal expertise from the get-go. Her elementary and secondary education in Oak Ridge, TN, prepared her for her future art careers. After graduation, as a designer for American Greetings cards and wraps, she was exceptional. Later, she would become an art teacher, the occupation for which she had earlier prepared.

Now in her retirement years this intelligent, determined, and versatile woman has decided to offer her art treasures to the world. Recently, working in colored pencil and pastels,  she decided to potentially "finish" one work per day. The results of this enormous body of work will amaze you!

I hope you will take time to view and marvel at Carol's skill and insight into the happiest nature of us humans--simply because this is who Carol is.  Enjoy a once in a lifetime venture into the soul of one person who has contributed to the joy, humor, compassion, and insights to help each of us find a better version of ourselves!
